MEMBER-MEMBER GOLF TOURNAMENT

Team up with another member to compete against other member teams. Form your own 2-person team, or we can pair you with a partner. Flights will be determined by the combined handicaps of teammates, so you will be competing against players of similar ability.

Date: Saturday, May 20 - Sunday, May 21 2017
Format of Play: Saturday – 2 Person Best Shot. 1:00 PM Shotgun
All players tee off, choose which shot is best and all play their next shots from the location of the best shot. Play continues in this fashion for all of the 18 holes.
Sunday – 1 Net Best Ball. 9:00 AM Shotgun
Golfers play their own ball throughout and the lower score between them on each hole counts as the team score
At the completion of play on Sunday, we will take the top 1 or 2 teams from each flight (depends on number of teams). These teams will compete in a shootout to determine our overall Member-Member champion.
Handicap: Pre-Flighted by Handicap. Requires up-to-date USGA Handicap Index.
Team Handicap = 35% of Low Handicap Player + 15% High Handicap Player
Your team handicap will be subtracted from your gross score
Entry Fee: $70.00 per member - includes: green fees, dinner and prizes (cart fees extra)
$25 for dinner guest
Eligibility: Thunder Hills Golf Members only event
Men and Women at least 18 years of age
Dinner: Saturday - Appetizers immediately following golf
Dress is casual

Sunday - Dinner after shoot-out (approximately x:xx PM)
Dress is business casual. No jeans or sneakers.
Prizes: Cash payout for Overall champions and Flight winners
Flag Events and Skins Games both days

Entry deadline is Friday, May 19 at 5:00 PM
Cancelation Policy: 1. If golf tournament is canceled due to weather or other events, player will receive a full refund
2. If player is a “no-show”, entry fee is non-refundable.
