Brian Wilson, PGA Brian was a standout collegiate golfer at the University of Iowa, earning First Team All-Big Ten honors in 1992 for his exceptional individual play. He is deeply involved in youth golf in the area, overseeing what is widely regarded as the top youth golf program in the tri-state area with over 100 participants. Brian has received the Iowa PGA Youth Development Award in both 2014 and 2017 for his outstanding contributions. Additionally, Brian played a key role in co-developing the Telegraph Herald Junior Tour, an annual event that visits numerous courses in the tri-states each summer. Since 1999, Brian has served as the Head Golf Professional at Thunder Hills Country Club.

Established in 1987, this esteemed couples golf tournament is a highlight of the Midwest golfing calendar. Hosted at the picturesque Thunder Hills Country Club, the event draws 200-250 players annually. Participants enjoy 18 holes of golf on both Thursday and Friday, followed by a delightful dinner on either night. The tournament format features selective drive and alternate shot play, adding excitement and camaraderie to the competition.
